MN registration

It’s a critical time for kratom advocacy. Here in Minnesota, the state just passed legislation raising the legal age to 21, effective August 1st. While this aligns kratom with alcohol and cannabis, it’s a better outcome than the bans we're seeing in places like Iowa or Ohio’s emergency scheduling.
The American Kratom Association is currently pushing for "surgical" regulations capping synthetic 7-OH while protecting natural leaf access. Supporting the Kratom Consumer Protection Act (KCPA) is our best defense against total prohibition. Stay informed and reach out to your representatives; our voices are what keep the "game" legal! Thank you much!

Thank you for the MN representation! I’m so glad MN chose to regulate instead of all out ban. Before this bill passed, I emailed all of our officials to push for regulation, and nearly a month later I got such an irritating and uneducated reply from one of our senators.
Not in Minnesota (have family there), but I'd have to agree in terms of general strategy for the legal defense of kratom. I'm in NY right now (high density of hard drug users and shady corner stores), and I've seen an explosion in sketchy extract/7oh/15mgm type products. For most of the people I know who know about kratom, this is how they learn about it, creating a bad first impression. People I know who are super into cannabis and were advocating for rec legalization of that give me the side eye when I mention it.

Good luck to MN :)
Iowas bill died this term but thank you for your concern I'll keep advocating for the states in peril amid some dumb decision makers thinking they are going to save lives!
We won't stop fighting even if the bill died this term doesn't mean it won't pop back up in the future so this may be a short term victory but it's because of all of us that we did it! I appreciate you for mentioning Iowa! Especially me living here!
